Our marmosets are one of our best purchases. They are very, very special to us.
Here is the story of Lucy:
We agreed to go to New York for our son to pick up the 7 mo. old baby girl named Lucy and to South Carolina to get our pair of breeders. We took a long weekend and drove to New York. We picked up Lucy then went on to South Carolina to pick up our pair of breeders. Lucy was so cute and tame. We decided to let her out while driving to keep us company. She played and played. She stayed on Daryl's side of the car most of the time while he was driving. She thought his legs, body and neck were a great big tree. She loves to play peek-a-boo.
Needless to say by the time we arrived back home (About 16 hrs in the car) Lucy had to be ours. We had to beg our son and daughter-in-law to sell her to us. They finally agreed and she is now ours. She absolutely loves rice Krispie treats, anything we are eating, baby treats, and marshmallows. Lucy is now a breeder female but still very special to us. She is no longer interested in spending time outside her cage because she has Mickey to keep her company.
